Recently the domain name was lost due to a lapse in renewal and in turn the domain was snatched up by what amounts to an internet scalper. It was then put up for sale as a premium domain name for a staggering $280. Former EVR member & web designer Adam Zuidema (a/k/a EVR_Z) came across the listing on and put together a grass roots fundraising campaign to raise the cash to save the domain name. With the blessing of EVR Founder Jamie Hoofman (a/k/a Shadow32) the fundraiser began and within 72 hours the funds to save the domain had been raised. Generous donations were made by four individuals who value the history of the EVR Motosports Group and the information that was contained within. We would like to personally thank Brandon Williams, Marcus Mackey, Bruce Carrol, & Tom Parker for making this all possible. Without your help an important part of sim racing history would not be able to be displayed in it entirety as it existed when active. Also thanks to Jamie for keeping very complete backups of all the iterations of EVR over the years. We hope this website serves as a wonderful reminder of days gone by.

With Sincere Thanks & Grattitude,

Adam "EVR_Z" Zuidema
Jamie "Shadow32" Hoofman

The DTR2, Nascar Heat & Nascar Racing 2003 Era & the three headed monster of a website:

Who knows maybe someday soon active racing can occur again under the EVRacing Banner, but for now enjoy the history that is contained within the coding of these website and remember a time when sim racing was not only fun, it was a community of friends, or dare I say a FAMILY, that got together once, twice, maybe 3 times a week to enjoy some time together, chit-chat and race a little.
